Seller Guidelines
To ensure Belly Dance Classifieds remains usable and appropriate for our general audience, there are a few guidelines you must agree to prior to listing a classified ad with us.
Belly Dance Classifieds reserves the right to modify or remove any postings that are in violation of our guidelines or that we feel are not relevant, or of value to the Belly Dance community immediately and without prior notice. If it was a paid feature ad, no refund will be issued.
By posting an ad on our site, you agree to the following statement:
“I agree that I will be solely responsible for the content of any classified ads that I post on this website. I will not hold the owner of this website responsible for any losses or damages to myself or to others that may result directly or indirectly from any ads that I post here.”
By posting an ad on our site, you further agree to the following guidelines:
- All ads should be for belly dance or related items. View our categories to see what is acceptable to list on Belly Dance Classifieds.
- Ads should be posted in the correct category. This ensures your ad is easily found by the right people. Ads found in the wrong category may be moved to the correct category by the Belly Dance Classifieds admin.
- No foul or otherwise inappropriate language will be tolerated.
- Belly Dance Classifieds is not an auction site and so we ask that ALL ads contain a definitive price for the item. No ads stating “highest offer accepted” or “make me an offer”.
- This website is designed for private sellers and buyers ONLY. If you are a commercial retailer or offering a service then please use the Belly Boutiques section. Belly Boutiques is a special feature we have built for Vendors to list their items on our site.
- No keyword spamming or affiliate links! We don’t allow this on Belly Dance Classifieds because it is very frustrating to our users to find irrelevant ads in their search results and it can make ads hard to read.
- No links to other classified websites! Please don’t put a link in your ad to further details on another website. Please be as descriptive as possible about your item for sale.
- No Duplicate Ads! Please don’t post the same ad (even if you re-word it!) more than once either in the same category or across multiple categories. If there are a few possible categories for your ad then please choose the most relevant. Any duplicate ads will be removed.
- Any ad that appears to be merely a test, a joke, a duplicate of another ad, or otherwise insincere or non-serious is subject to removal.
- We reserve the ultimate discretion as to which ads, if any, are in violation of these guidelines.
